Rush APO!

Welcome to the first step of becoming a brother in the Gamma chapter of Alpha Phi Omega! Whether you attended an info session, service event, fellowship, or just heard about us through the grapevine, the brothers of APO welcome you to the beginning of an exciting and fun-filled semester!

My name is Ryan Bresnahan and I am the Director of Pledging this semester. I am really excited about getting to know all of you and ensuring you have the best pledging experience possible!

RushEvents

At the end of Rush there is a mandatory Inductions ceremony that will start you on your journey to becoming a brother of APO!

Again, I look forward to meeting each and every one of you! If you have questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact myself Ryan Bresnahan(NetID: rmb283) or our friendly neighborhood Assistant Pledgemasters, Niki Chimberg (snc38), Dylan Clemens (djc369) or Alice Lin (acl83).

Thank you! We will be in touch soon!

In Leadership, Friendship, and Service,

Ryan Bresnahan

Why Should I Rush APO?

How Does Rushing Work?

APO has a short rush period followed by a pledge program. The rush period usually lasts about two weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for you to get to meet current APO members and experience some service projects and fellowship events which are open to the public.

The pledge program lasts for about eight weeks and is designed to familiarize you with the ins and outs of our organization. The pledging requirements include completing service projects, attending weekly meetings, and getting to know members at various fellowship events. Although this is a significant time commitment, it is meant to be fun and not stressful. It is a great way to meet many new people, too!
