Formal

Every semester the Vice President of Fellowship plans and hosts a themed formal dinner for the brotherhood. Brothers come together to enjoy delicious food and receive individual awards. This is an especially meaningful event for graduating seniors, since this is where their farewell cards are signed and also where they receive senior gifts. At the end of this magical night, everyone gets a commemorative glassware item designed for the occasion.

Day 2 Dinner

Traditionally, this end-of-the-year potluck dinner was on the second day of the final exam study period, although nowadays it is scheduled at a convenient date. Held in the Willard Straight Memorial Room, it is a chance for the brotherhood to come together and enjoy each others’ company.

The dinner also sees many events of great significance to the brotherhood. The Gamma Gazette, a semesterly publication with Gamma Superlatives and a semester recap, is released in both electronic and print versions. The Retention Chair announces the winner of Family Wars and awards them the title of Gamma’s Best Family. The newly elected members of the Executive Board are sworn in by the President.

Gamma Gazette

At the end of the semester, the Vice President of Communications compiles the Gamma Gazette, a newsletter offering a retrospective of the past semester. It includes a message from the President, Senior Wills, Superlatives, and much more.
