I rushed APO on a whim my freshman fall, and it turned out to be the best choice that I have made at Cornell. I found my home on campus and APO has pushed me to be the best version of myself. When I pledged, I was pretty quiet and fairly shy, but APO has allowed me to come out of my shell. I value all the friendships that I have made, and now have the confidence to be comfortable with speaking in a large group of people. I have had so many memorable experiences in APO. One that comes to mind is the Bingalee Dingalee fellowship. Emily Liu is an amazing host and allowed us to play the chimes, and it turns out that I’m really really good at it. APO’s Fellowship program is where I met my closest friends and I wouldn’t ever want to change that.
