Seeing and getting to meet all the new pledges each semester keeps me excited about APO! With each pledge comes a new story, a new friend and a new and unique affinity for service. I balance APO with my school work and extracurricular activities by using my google calendar ruthlessly! Every time I sign up for an event on docubro, I add it to my calendar and make sure it doesn’t conflict with any of my other meetings and that I am still left with time for both school and personal time. Time management is everything and with it, I can enjoy full participation in the brotherhood! Going forward, I plan to pursue a career that will allow me to address systematic issues in our nations. APO has shown me the way that service is an instrumental method of doing that and I will thus endeavor to incorporate direct service work in my professional career going forward.
