Kelsey Carpenter ’20

Hi APO bros! My name is Kelsey Carpenter and I am excited to be checking in from Santiago, Chile! I’ve been in APO since my first semester at Cornell so I’m definitely missing all of your smiling faces. This semester I have been studying political science and Spanish at La Universidad Pontificia Católica de Chile. I’ve met some great people through my abroad program and a loving host family. I have also had a great time traveling Chile to see some of the country’s beautiful landscapes. While I miss some of my APO activities like tutoring at BJM, I have come to love a group of kids I get to work with 6 hours a week at an after school program in the city. I’m excited to push through my last month of work, projects and exams so that I can travel for two weeks before returning to the states. I hope you are all enjoying your semester at Cornell!
